We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance, ensuring the optimal functioning of our equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repair, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues effectively.
- Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Troubleshoot low voltage electrical systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Work with hydraulic systems, ensuring proper functionality and addressing any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with field service teams to provide support during installations or major repairs.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for equipment repair or fabrication.
- Assist in HVAC/R maintenance tasks, ensuring climate control systems operate efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of equipment.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and hydraulic components is preferred.
- Experience using CMMS for maintenance tracking is advantageous.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents accurately.
- Welding skills are a plus for equipment repair tasks.
- Previous experience in technical sales is beneficial but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
