What we are looking for:
We are seeking an energetic team player to join our team as a part- time teller. This person will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate financial transactions. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with customers while promoting bank products and services. Hours for this position are Monday - Thursday, 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-6pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their banking needs
- Perform various financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Process cash and check transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain proper cash drawer limits and ensure cash handling procedures are followed
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs
- Assist with loan processing and documentation
- Identify and report any suspicious or fraudulent activity
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or cash handling role preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and procedures
- Familiarity with debit/credit transactions and financial sales
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer information
- Proficiency in using cash registers or similar equipment is a plus
