The Program
We have an exciting opportunity available for an Associate for Research and Data Analytics for our growing team of professionals.
The Role
The Associate for Research and Data Analytics will be responsible for performing complex data analysis, creating reports and dashboards, and providing actionable insights to support data-driven decision making across the organization. This role focuses on developing and maintaining data analytic approaches, evaluation methodologies, and visualization tools to effectively communicate key metrics and trends. Additional responsibilities include survey design and administration to gather critical workforce data. The associate will ensure data quality and consistency while collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to deliver timely analytics and reporting in accordance with organizational requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze complex datasets using statistical and visualization tools
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate key metrics and trends
• Transform raw data into meaningful visualizations for interpretation
• Ensure compliance with NY State reporting requirements and internal timelines
• Identify and implement data improvement and automation opportunities
Survey Management
• Design and administer surveys using established methodologies
• Manage survey distribution across multiple channels
• Monitor response rates and maintain respondent databases
• Execute follow-up protocols and quality control measures
• Ensure compliance with privacy regulations
Data Program Management and Stakeholder Collaboration
• Support educational training programs on data-related topics for staff
• Manage multiple projects with independence and autonomy
• Partner with internal and external teams to maintain data quality and consistency
• Communicate key findings from analyses and reports to stakeholders
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• 2 years’ experience analyzing large datasets
• Healthcare industry experience or experience working with workforce data preferred
• Experience in data-driven environments with demonstrated querying/manipulation skills
Technical Skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
• Experience with MS SQL
• HubSpot Reporting/Dashboards experience preferred
• Understanding of database design and application programming
• Skilled in data cleaning, blending, and parsing
• Survey development and administration experience preferred

Reports To: Caring Gene® Healthcare Career Pathways Executive Director

Physical setting:
• Hybrid work environment in Clifton Park office (3 days minimum in office available after 90 days of employment with discretion of supervisor).
Schedule: Monday – Friday with standard 37.5-hour work week
Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 per year
