Job Title : Director
Department : Emergency Department / Progressive Care Unit
Status : Full Time, Salaried Position
Schedule : 40 hours a week
Summary / Objective
The ideal candidate has a BSN, holds a valid IL RN license, has had 2 years of management experience, and is certified in CPR, ACLS & PALS. The Director will work under the direction of the CNO to manage the functions of both the Emergency Department and Progressive Care Unit, strategic planning, policy and procedure development, budgeting, establishment of operating methods and systems. Provides effective leadership to ensure that the patient care services are organized, directed and staffed to meet scope of services offered. Possess the ability for independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative. Facilitates interdisciplinary collaborative relationships within the department and throughout the organization and serves as a role model for staff.

The hospital facility is comprised of clinical and diagnostic services which are dedicated to providing high quality health care services to the community. These services include but are not limited to an Emergency Room, full service OR suites, an inpatient care unit, therapy services, advanced medical imaging, Home Health, and Hospice Care. The hospital operates rural health clinics in Watseka, IL, Gilman, IL, Milford, IL, Saint Anne, IL and Kentland, IN. The hospital also operates a skilled nursing facility, Iroquois Resident Home, which is attached to the hospital property.
