Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse/Patient Care Tech.
Department: Progressive Care Unit
Status: Full Time/Part Time/PRN Available
Schedule: Days and Nights Available
Summary/Objective
To provide high quality nursing care by conducting patient assessments, administering treatment and medications, performing diagnostic tests, and arranging patient follow-ups. As well as perform reception, clerical & secretarial duties while functioning as the focal communication source in the work station. Works closely with management, staff, families, physicians, other employees, and visitors. Assists to maintain the department in a constant state of readiness and an adequately stocked, well organized and clean department. Assists the nurses in providing the best care for our patients.

Experience/Education Requirements
- Minimum Acceptable Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current nursing license, in good standing with the state licensing board
- CPR certification upon hire
Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support within one year of hire
- Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support within one year of hire

Iroquois Memorial Hospital is a 25 bed hospital located in Watseka, Illinois. The hospital facility is comprised of clinical and diagnostic services which are dedicated to providing high quality health care services to the community. These services include but are not limited to an Emergency Room, full service OR suites, an inpatient care unit, therapy services, advanced medical imaging, Home Health, and Hospice Care. The hospital operates rural health clinics in Watseka, IL, Gilman, IL, Milford, IL, Saint Anne, IL and Kentland, IN. The hospital also operates a skilled nursing facility, Iroquois Resident Home, which is attached to the hospital property.
