What are the responsibilities and job description for the SEL Interventionists (IWMS / UES) position at Iroquois West Unit 10?
This position would require the candidate to work with our regular education students in regards to social work. The candidate would work at the middle school Monday, Wednesday, & Friday and at the Upper Elementary on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Contract working times are 8AM to 3:50PM. The candidate is responsible for planning a schedule to offer services to multiple students within the day.
These sessions vary per the request of the district or parent. Typically, they run around 20-30 minutes long. Coordination with the Special Education social worker would be beneficial. Along with this, the candidate must also be our 504 liaison for both buildings.
This would entail coordinating and running all 504 meetings with staff & parents. Additional skills would be experience using the computer program called Embrace.
