Meat Utility Worker
Duties
- Lift cases of up to 80 pounds
- Open cases of meat products and place opened product onto conveyer belt
- Help track and document product as it moves through the building for food safety logs
- Operate packing machines
- Pack product into boxes
- Clean Work Station
- Scrub and clean machines
- Count and handle inventory and stock
Work Conditions
This position is based in our food manufacturing plant. Our utility workers/packers spend most of their day standing up and have to spend extended periods of time working in cold rooms where the temperature is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. This position requires heavy lifting throughout the day.
Shift
Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
