Summary
As an Outside Sales Representative at Irr Supply Centers, Inc., you will play a vital role in driving sales and expanding our customer base. This position is essential to our mission of delivering exceptional service and value to our clients while fostering strong relationships within the community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in your assigned territory.
- Conduct regular visits to clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
- Identify market trends and opportunities for growth within your territory.
- Utilize technology tools for tracking sales activities and managing customer information.
- Provide product knowledge training to clients as needed.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets through effective territory management.
- Note: While this is primarily an outside sales role, there will be an initial period of inside sales work during training, where you will gain hands-on experience in our branch setting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or technical sales within the plumbing or HVAC industry is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Excellent communication skills for building rapport with clients and team members.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Experience with territory management to maximize sales opportunities.
- Familiarity with technology sales is a plus but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling and cross-selling products effectively.
- Must have reliable daily transportation to branch location.
- Able to undergo a drug screening test.
