What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Sales position at Irr Supply Centers, Inc.?
Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. alternating Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon
Our Counter Salespeople maintain good working relationships utilizing effective verbal and written communications with all customers, co-workers and vendors by providing information, answering questions and selling merchandise over the counter in a friendly, courteous and professional manner with a positive outlook and a desire to serve. They perform general warehouse duties that include picking orders for customers as well as moving and storing materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in counter sales in the construction or wholesale distribution industry a plus but not required.
- We are looking for someone with good communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Quality sales techniques.
- Experience accepting, entering, and picking product sales orders.
- Attention to detail required.
