We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our dedicated team at Irr Supply Centers, Inc. This role is responsible for a variety of complex job duties within the Accounting Department. This role requires a strong understanding of general accounting principles.
Regions Available:
Niagara County
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform reconciliations of accounts
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial data and generate reports
- Support controller with yearend audit
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, prior accounting experience required.
- Experience working in an ERP system
- Ability to navigate and work in Excel proficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High degree of professionalism and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
