What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Technician position at Irrigation Concepts?

Irrigation Concepts is looking for a skilled technician with at least 3-5 years of well-rounded experience to join our team. This includes but is not limited to:
- Inspections of commercial and residential irrigation systems.
- A working knowledge of the components of irrigation systems including pipes, fittings, pumps, heads, valves and controllers.
- Ability to diagnose and repair both conventional and 2-wire systems is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of irrigation installation practices and procedures including proper head spacing, pipe routing and a basic understanding of hydraulics/flow rates.
- Knowledge of nozzle sizes, volumes and patterns for both mist and rotor heads.
- Experience with 521 locator and Pulsar fault finder to locate valves, cut wires and bad connections.
- Experience with a Volt/Ohm meter to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Experience with Rainbird IQ3 and IQ4 software a plus, but not required.
- Golf course irrigation experience a plus, but not required.

- Must be able to read and write in English.

- Valid driver's license with clean record.
