Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in landscape maintenance, specifically in irrigation systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas. Must have a valid FL DL.
Duties
- Maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers and drip lines.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
- Perform necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure efficient operation of irrigation equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall landscape care.
- Dig trenches for irrigation lines and ensure proper placement of components.
- Provide recommendations for lawn care and garden maintenance related to irrigation needs.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in landscape maintenance.
- Familiarity with various types of irrigation systems and techniques.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience in digging and trenching for installation purposes.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices and garden management is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 43 per week
