What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Installation Technician position at Irrigators?

Job Description

As a Field Technician, You will : Install Wildfire Defense Systems on residential customers’ homes. This involves :

Layout and assemble the necessary pipework
Install sprinklers and properly seal all roof penetrations
Assemble and install equipment to stucco, concrete, roofing, siding, etc.
Wire system components (low voltage)
Occasionally perform trenching, concrete work, traffic control
Handle project clean up on a daily basis.
Maintain and organize inventory of vehicles and storage locations
Travel required in state and out of state up to 75% during the summer busy season with overnight stays required.

Qualifications

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated team player with :

Construction-related experience

Roof, Irrigation, and / or Plumbing experience a plus

Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and know when to ask questions

Experience working outdoors under various weather conditions

Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)

Excellent documentation skills

Professional appearance and strong customer relation skills

Maintain a valid Driver’s License

Willingness to travel / reliable transportation

Able to pass a background check

Compensation :

Compensation will be dependent on experience

Per Diem on all travel
