JOB DESCRIPTION
KNOWLEDGE OF SHOP OPERATIONS
- Proficient knowledge in shop operations including:
- Communicating with General Manager
- Opening, closing, and restocking
- Customer service
- Sales offerings including loyalty, catering, ice cream shop parties, and wholesale
- All leads sent to management
- POS and loyalty
- Wholesale fulfillment
- Washing and sanitizing
- Ice cream production and storage
- Receiving and storing inventory
- Labeling and printing
- Staff scheduling software
- Other operations as they arise
STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES
- Support General Manager in training staff to keep standards and perform procedures
- Perform all opening and closing procedures
- Train staff on and reinforce opening and closing procedures
- Verify staff are meeting standards and performing opening and closing procedures
STAFF MANAGEMENT
- Support General Manager as they assign tasks
- On-call to find a cover for staff when they cannot work their scheduled shift
- Come in to staff the shop if another Ice Cream Server is not available to cover a callout / no-show.
