Overview
We are seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant but experience in GP and or Orthodontics is great as we are a multi specialty practice. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced high quality dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care, ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients. This role is essential in supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality care across various specialties.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, sterile, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and billing inquiries.
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques.
- Support the team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic setting.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control procedures.
- Familiarity with pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus.
- Proficiency in dental coding and use of dental software such as Dentrix.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both clinical and administrative tasks.
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting; current CPR certification.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
