Job Title: Full and Part Time Tasting Room Ambassador
Reports to: DTC & Hospitality Manager
This position is responsible for creating world class wine experience for our guests and wine club members and developing and maintaining relationships that promote sales and brand loyalty by providing the highest quality experience for all guests.
Job Description:
o Convey our brand story by facilitating exceptional wine tasting experiences
o Able to perform a sales driven role focused on club memberships and on-premise wine sales
o Handle routine purchasing transactions and assist with shipping duties with the highest level of accuracy
o Tasting Room wine service, assist with special events, private wine tastings, winery tours
o Assist wine making team during harvest, bottling, and wine club packing
Skills and Abilities:
o Wine sales driven and focus on brand strengthening through sharing our story and creating positive, memorable experiences
o Knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely enthusiastic about wine
o Demonstrate dining room etiquette, service formalities, and proper wine service standards
o Continuous development in wine knowledge, hospitality standards, and understanding our wine region
Requirements:
o 1 to 2 years of hospitality or wine ambassador experience preferred
o Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
o Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and obtain an OLCC permit and Oregon Food Handler’s Permit
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
