Soccer Playing Experience Preferred - Opportunities available for experienced and entry level recreational coaches.
Irvine Youth Soccer league (IYSL) Offers recreational soccer for kids ages 4-12 in the Irvine, CA area. We are looking to hire a few enthusiastic youth soccer coaches to help us run sessions at our Irvine locations. While no experience is necessary, we would like candidates to have an understanding of the game of soccer and enjoy working with kids. We offer rewarding work in a positive environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and will be committed to helping kids have fun while they learn the basic fundamentals of soccer.
Requirements:
- Currently live within a reasonable commute to Irvine, CA (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE AREA!)
- 4:30-7:00/8:00 PM Monday-Friday (Flexible Schedule. Do not need to be available every day)
Responsibilities:
- Instruct players in youth soccer activities
- Help kids achieve their soccer and fitness goals
- Demonstrate proper form and technique
- Implement specialized training curriculum for players
- Ensure programs are effective, safe, and fun
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a youth soccer coach not required
- Experience as a soccer player preferred but not required
- Ability to train boys and girls ages 4-12 at beginner/intermediate skill levels
- Passion for youth soccer and kids
- Ability to build rapport with players and provide a fun environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
