Technical Business Systems Analyst

On behalf of our client, a leader in the automotive industry, we are seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst with deep expertise in enterprise-level projects. This role will be instrumental in defining and documenting business and technical requirements across large-scale systems, including Salesforce, Informatica (middleware/API integrations), financial systems, and other enterprise applications. The ideal candidate is not only a strong requirements-gathering expert but also highly technical able to understand and communicate complex data flows, APIs, and system integrations without needing to be hands-on.

Location: Remote in US Working CST Hours

This contract job is expected to pay about 65-70/hour

What You Will Do:

• Lead enterprise-level requirements gathering and documentation for large-scale systems, including Salesforce, Informatica, and financial applications.
• Develop business requirements, functional/technical specifications, and use cases to ensure clarity and completeness.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, defining key questions and driving structured discussions to extract critical requirements.
• Partner with business units (primarily Commercial & Marketing, Customer Service, and Logistics) to identify and document cross-functional processes.
• Ensure all documented requirements translate effectively into test cases, working closely with QA resources.
• Act as the bridge between business and IT, ensuring technical feasibility and clear communication with development teams.
• Continuously improve templates, methodologies, and best practices for requirements gathering and documentation.

What Gets You The Job:

• 7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Technical BSA working on large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Strong experience in defining and documenting end-to-end system requirements for complex, integrated applications.
• Understanding of Salesforce (preferred), Informatica middleware, financial systems, and API integrations.
• Ability to speak fluently about technology (data, APIs, system architecture) and collaborate with technical teams, but no hands-on coding required.
• Proven ability to lead workshops, create structured agendas, and ask the right questions to drive clarity in requirements.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple business units.
• Experience in translating requirements into test cases and working with QA teams to ensure successful implementation.
