Guidewire QA Tester
We have an immediate need for a Guidewire QA Tester to join an insurance company for a contract-to-hire position that is remote capable. The Guidewire Tester will perform manual testing of Guidewire PolicyCenter projects such as enhancements, configurations, integrations, and implementations. This position does not offer H1B visa sponsorship.
Location: Remote
This job expects to pay about $80,000- 95,000 with 10% bonus plus benefits
What You Will Do:
- Conduct manual functional testing of Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for PolicyCenter enhancements and defect fixes.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand system functionality and ensure complete test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using Jira or other tracking tools.
- Participate in Agile development processes, attending sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure compliance with software development life cycle (SDLC) standards.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation.
What Gets You The Job:
- 2–4 years of QA experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter testing.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Jira or other defect tracking tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers and business analysts.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
