What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Specialist position at Irvine Technology Corporation?
We have an immediate need for a contract Help Desk Technician I to join our client, a luxury hotel and casino. The Help Desk Technician I will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and maintain a professional presence while working across IT and operational environments.
What You Will Do:
- Track and manage inventory for all IT hardware, including computers and related assets.
- Physically log the location of IT assets across various areas (IT, reception, secure cages, etc.).
- Assign and log new asset tags/names to align with an improved naming convention.
- Capture and document asset details, including asset tags, ID/MAC addresses, and assigned users.
- Ensure proper documentation of equipment custody receipts.
- Maintain a general count of peripherals without detailed tracking.
- Utilize Excel for initial asset management, with a planned transition to ServiceNow.
- Provide clear and professional communication while collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
