Job Description / Essential Elements :
Under the supervision of the Coordinator, Director, or assigned administrator, performs a variety of specialized secretarial and clerical work to relieve the assigned administrator of a wide variety of routine administrative and office duties and to provide support to an assigned department or program office.
Typing Requirement : Type at a net corrected speed of 50 words per minute.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : Any combination equivalent to : graduation from high school supplemented by college level course work in a related field and two years of increasingly responsible administrative or clerical support experience.

This position is to support the Special Education Department.

Comments and Other Information
IUSD offers a comprehensive health benefits program for employees who work 30 hours or more per week. The district pays most of the cost of medical and dental insurance for all eligible employees with nominal costs for dependents.
Per our CSEA agreement a newly hired employee can only begin at Step 1, 2 or 3 on the salary schedule.
