JOB TITLE : Warehouse Delivery Lead

PRIMARY PURPOSE : Provide quality and timely support to the Districts educational, maintenance, and extracurricular programs by leading warehouse staff and maintaining a well-stocked, rapid response warehousing and delivery operation.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum Education / Certification :
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Valid Texas driver's license and proof of insurability with the Districts insurance carrier
Special Knowledge / Skills :
Minimum Experience :
Four years of warehouse operations experience

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
In the absence of the Warehouse Manager, supervise the daily tasks of warehouse staff.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
Tools / Equipment Used : Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals, two-way radio, multi-line phone system, copier, fax machine; small hand tools; medium to heavy-duty truck with standard shift transmission, pallet jack, electric and gas powered forklifts, two and four-wheel dollies
Posture : Standing, sitting, kneeling / squatting, bending / stooping, pushing / pulling, and twisting
Motion : Repetitive hand motions, keyboarding, and use of a mouse; frequent walking, climbing stairs and ladders and scaffolding; grasping / squeezing, wrist flexion / extension and overhead reaching; visual acuity to distinguish basic colors; driving variety of vehicles; operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and assorted dollies; operating lift gates on heavy to medium duty trucks.
Lifting : Lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds without assistance, 30-55 pounds with assistance, and more than 55 pounds with appropriate assistance
Environment : Work outside and inside, on slippery or uneven walking surfaces; exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, toxic chemicals and materials, noise, and vibration; work around moving objects and vehicles; work with frequent interruptions
Mental Demands : Maintain emotional control under stress
