Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range $175,000.00 / yr - $225,000.00 / yrBusiness Manager - Homebuilding & Building Products Office Based : HoustonSalary Range : $175,000 - $250,000 Bonus (Overall comp : $230,000 - $350,000 - Depending on Experience)8% 401k match, profit-sharing and ESOP programsComprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive legal counsel and guidance on all aspects of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, construction, and land use matters.Collaborate with coworkers, banks, title companies and local counsel on various issues relating to loan documentation, closings, land acquisitions, and title matters.Conduct due diligence reviews, draft and negotiate complex real estate contracts, purchase agreements, deeds, easements, restrictive covenants, and related documentation focusing on land acquisition / transactions.Analyze land titles, zoning regulations, environmental reports, and survey data to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, business units, and cross-functional teams, to align legal strategies with the company's objectives.Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolutions related to real estate transactions and land development projects.Stay updated on changes in real estate laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring the company's practices remain compliant and competitive.Manage and oversee the work of outside counsel engaged for specialized real estate matters, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.Qualifications : Must have relevant experience in corporate real estate law, ideally with a focus on residential development, preferably within the homebuilding industry.Must have experience with residential land acquisition transactions.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.Comprehensive knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices specific to the Houston metropolitan area.Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, and legal writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues, provide strategic counsel, and develop innovative solutions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity.Seniority level AssociateEmployment type Full-timeJob function Legal and FinanceIndustries Real Estate, Construction, and Housing and Community Development#J-18808-Ljbffr
