Title : Formulation Scientist

About the role : Manage in-house projects related to powders (bulk and stick pack), capsules, and gummies.

Responsibilities :

  • Create and present new products to both existing and potential clients.
  • Engage in all stages of product development, from ideation and benchtop samples to NFP / SFP creation and commercialization / scale-up.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings.
  • Manage the preparation of bench samples and prototypes for the sales team.
  • Create and maintain formulations, NFP / SFPs, specifications, testing methods, pricing, and processes.
  • Establish and nurture effective relationships with current and prospective clients and vendors.
  • Work closely with Quality, Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Senior Management, and other departments.
  • Follow SOPs and comply with GMPs, SQF, and other relevant company certifications.
  • Collaborate with vendors to explore new technologies and drive product innovation.

    • Requirements :

  • At least 3 years of Nutraceutical formulation experience.
  • Capable of managing and completing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer interaction skills.
  • Strong analytical skills essential for problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, etc.).
