Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operations of the aggregate plant, including safety, production and maintenance; manage union and non-union employees.
- Manage team through training, motivation, and measuring goals.
- Support interaction and communication between employees, customers, and vendors.
- Manage and resolve customer issues.
- Help develop the annual business plan and manage with it as a guideline.
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred; or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in all facets of production processes and maintenance.
- Experience in stone production.
- Must be safety-oriented and experienced with MSHA regulations.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Computer skills, familiar with Google Suite.
- Ability to build and follow budgets.
- Work with onsite ready mix, and asphalt plants.
- Work with and be part of the sales team.
