IRWIN COUNTY HOSPITAL is looking for a CMA to join their team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Working with physicians in daily office operations. Responsible for participating in the scheduling, delivery and evaluation of patients in the office setting. Assists in completing the patient history as per office specifications. Collaborates with other health team members regarding patient care. Documents patient’s medical information in patient record. Contacts patients about lab work and other test results as per office protocols. Triages patient telephone calls.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma and Medical Assistant Certificate from accredited institution. Must be computer literate with previous physician office practice experience. Requires attention to detail, good customer service skills and ability to adapt to changing needs of department. Minimum of two (2) years physician office medical assistant experience preferred. Bilingual ability preferred.

PHYSICAL / MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to think and work effectively under stress with frequent interruptions; to move, sit, stand, walk and bend intermittently throughout the workday, lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Must possess sight and hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these sources to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Use of mechanical and technical equipment required for the assigned responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.50 - $17.00 per hour
