Responsibilities:
- Complete full and accurate take-offs for commercial and residential projects.
- Prepare and submit Requests for Information (RFls) to clarify scope of work and bid requirements.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive proposals, including detail scopes of work with current material pricing, for projects in the bidding phase.
- Review and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring terms align with project needs and company standards.
- Manage change orders, expense approvals, and other project-related responsibilities.
- Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure successful execution of awarded projects.
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
- 3-7 years of experience in Commercial Construction is required.
- Highly organized with an exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong background in the commercial construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Solid math skills with an understanding of cost calculations.
- Knowledge of building materials and their typical installation applications.
- Ability to read blueprints and accurately identify scope of work.
- Preferred experience with Planswift or similar estimating and takeoff software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects during both the bidding phase and post-award.
