Job Title: Industrial Sewer
Position Overview
The Industrial Sewer is responsible for sewing the chair components of our high-quality seating products. This role requires proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and a keen eye for precision and quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch fabric, padding, and other materials to create the chair components of our seating products.
- Follow production schedules and meet quality standards while maintaining productivity targets.
- Inspect and measure materials to ensure proper fit and alignment before beginning sewing processes.
- Prepare materials by cutting, trimming, and preparing fabric for the chair components.
- Ensure that stitching is neat, secure, and free from defects or inconsistencies.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure the timely and efficient completion or orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of chair components with other parts of the seating product.
- Ensure adherence to company quality control standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines and equipment.
- Strong understanding of industrial sewing techniques and best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing consistently high-quality work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines.

- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift materials as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience working with a variety of fabrics, leather, and upholstery materials (preferred).
- Previous experience in a seating or furniture manufacturing setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices within industrial sewing operations (preferred).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and patterns (preferred).
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and loud machinery. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
