Internship Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled student with experience in Adobe Photoshop for an immediate, paid internship. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in image editing within a professional setting and contribute to a real-world project.
Responsibilities:
- Using Adobe Photoshop, mask out backgrounds from approximately 400 product images.
- Remove visible fishing line used for product staging from the same set of images.
- Ensure consistent image quality and adherence to provided guidelines.
- Maintain organized digital files and adhere to project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Current student pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Digital Media, or a related field. Sophomore standing or higher preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, including masking techniques, retouching tools, and layer management.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic understanding of image file formats (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, etc.).
Internship Details:
- Duration: 6 weeks (flexible start date)
- Hours: 20 hours per week during the school year, open to additional hours based on class schedule
- Compensation: Competitive hourly compensation, ranging from $18-$20 per hour, depending on your current academic standing.
