Job Title: Process Improvement Engineer
Job Summary:
At Irwin, we are looking for a Process Improvement Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving process improvements and increasing efficiency across our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Performing equipment justification, procurement, and installation/implementation support
- Troubleshooting production issues to resolve product quality problems
- Improving product and/or process designs as needed
- Implementing new manufacturing processes for new products
- Maintaining CAD drawings and other technical documents
- Developing efficient plant layouts
- Evaluating and improving manufacturing methods
- Planning workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow
- Applying statistical analysis to predict future manufacturing needs
- Collaborating with teams to drive daily process and cell support
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience of 2 years required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
