The recruiter will partner with management in the identification, recruitment, and qualification of top talent to support company objectives. The recruiter is responsible for achieving company staffing objectives by ensuring clear and complete descriptions and requirements for open positions, sourcing qualified candidates, managing selected candidates through the screening & interview process and hiring process. They will also work with HR Manager/Generalists and other participating parties in integrating the recruiting, hiring and onboarding processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify qualified candidates by developing and implementing various, creative recruiting tactics. Develop an active network of recruiting resources.
- Minimize recruiting costs by reducing the usage of external recruiting firms and by leveraging technology to make the process cost effective.
- Act as a search expert for multiple functional areas by participating in recruitment strategy/intake meetings to understand hiring needs, position specs and search requirements. Partner with Hiring Managers to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information such as labor market availability & sourcing technologies that facilitates an effective search process according to assigned timelines.
- Prequalifying/screening/phone interviewing of candidates for basic qualifications, availability, technical skills, interest level, salary range, mobility/relocation needs.
- Provide organization information, benefits offered, environment advantages, and current opportunities through presentations, materials, and website to maintain rapport with outside sources.
- Be the point of contact for candidates throughout the entire recruitment process and provide an excellent candidate experience.
- Manage outside recruiting firms and serve as main point of contact to the recruiting agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all legal aspects of recruiting
- Maintain metrics for open and filled positions
- Participate in college recruiting, job fairs and other recruiting activities
- Perform other such duties as may be required.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
- Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.
- Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of third parties.
- Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.

- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program with a minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience in recruiting, sourcing, or related area of focus. Equivalent combination of experience and education will also be considered.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office programs, social media sites, job posting sites, and applicant tracking systems.
