Commercial Purchasing Auditor

Job Description

Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a detail-orientated Commercial Purchasing Auditor. This position may be based in Rochester or any Isaac branch and will report directly to the Purchasing Supervisor. The commercial purchasing auditor will be responsible for ensuring proper process is followed for created purchase orders, maintaining open purchase orders, and confirming proper costing on commercial jobs related to purchasing transactions.

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain open purchase orders by reconciling them with associated vendor invoices
• Monitor incoming packing slips from offsite purchasing, provided by field staff
• Track open purchase orders and follow up on back-order products as required
• Communicate with project managers and field staff on status of open purchase orders
• Verify proper process for purchase order creation and receipt creation
• Ensure proper job costing, related to purchasing transactions, for commercial department
• Provide purchase orders for field staff as requested for products needed from local vendors
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required 
• Minimum of 1-2 years of purchasing or related purchasing experience 
• Prior experience in HVAC industry preferred

The starting hourly base wage for this position is $23-$25. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education, which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
