What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Graphic Artist - Apparel Industry (Girls Division) position at Isaac Morris Ltd?
The Sr. Graphic Artist will work cross functionally with the Creative Director and Design to create and develop seasonal artwork while supporting the overall company objective. This role will work closely with our Art and Design teams to conceptualize and create trend right designs for our customers. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in character art and will have relevant experience, a strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, free thinking & deep understanding of design fundamentals. Must have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator & a passion for children’s clothing.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but are not limited to) :
- Work directly with Creative Director to execute graphics and product for Toddler, Girls, & Tween girls department
- Develop graphic designs from concept to final art form
- Develop Licensed Character Artwork & Generic into files that can be produced
- Stay abreast of trends, innovation, competition, new techniques, software’s, and resources in graphic design
- Solid understanding of product development & print process
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Support department ideas and identifies opportunities for process improvement
- Continues developing knowledge of the market via competitive shopping
- Research new technologies in graphic design and make recommendations for enhancements, upgrades and purchases
