Major Responsibilities : Primary

Scheduling Guidelines
Due to the hours of operation and business
needs, General Manager Trainees should expect to work a schedule similar to
what a General Manager is expected to work :
A minimum of 40 hours per week
A combination of daytime, evening, and
weekend shifts.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS :
Education : High
school degree or equivalent required.
Previous management experience is required. Must be able to speak, read,
write and understand the primary language(s) of the work location and the
guests who typically visit the work location.
Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations. Skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
are not required, though helpful. This
position requires an ability to learn standard kitchen and food preparation
procedures and organization.
Certifications : Must
have knowledge of public health and sanitation regulations and maintain a
current ServSafe certification.
Must have knowledge of
safe and proper serving of alcohol and maintain a current RAMP certification.
Experience : Knowledge
of service, food and beverage, generally involving a minimum of two (2) years
restaurant management experience. Must
possess good communication skills and be able to work with others. Must have the ability to make decisions and
solve problems rapidly. Must be sensitive to the needs of the customer.
Essential
Physical Requirements : Estimated percentage of daily physical
requirements and / or number of pounds that may need to be lifted on the job.
Verbally communicates with guests and co-workers. Must be able to speak clearly and listen
attentively to guests and co-workers.
80% Walks and stands during shift.
Must be able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of at least four (4) hours
in length.
80% Reaches, bends, wipes and
stoops. Must have a good sense of
balance, be able to bend at the knee and waste and kneel.
20% Lifts and carries product
containers, racks / stacks of dishes, ice, bus pans, trash bags and trays
weighing up to 50 lbs.
Essential hand / eye coordination
Working
Conditions :
Intermittent exposure to steam, humidity and
high temperatures.
Hazards may include, but are not limited to
cuts, burns, falls, slipping and tripping.
Frequent washing of hands is required.
Use of disposable vinyl gloves as needed.
Frequent contact / immersion of hands in water
and cleaning / sanitizing solutions.
