* Job Overview *
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators, and will be responsible for performing tasks that require precision and attention to detail. This role is essential for ensuring that construction sites are prepared and maintained according to project specifications.
*Duties*
- Sewer installation.
- Operate excavator safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Your primary job will be to dig foundations and basements for a variety of projects.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
* Requirements *
- Knowledge of concrete and foundation structures.
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically excavators.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain machinery effectively.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards.
- Ability to operate additional machinery such as loaders, dump trucks, and backhoes is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to read foundation plans and prints.
