Position Title: Trust Associate
Reports To: Trust Manager
General Purpose: Provides administrative support on fiduciary accounts with a focus on irrevocable trusts and estate administration.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Trust Officers with the administration of trusts, investment management accounts and estate settlement.
- Gathers and maintains required documents and ensures files are complete.
- Works in partnership with operations and trust officers.
- Research and respond to client inquiries.
- Prepare client material and attend client meetings.
- Complete account administrative reviews.
- Communicate and meet with trust beneficiaries regarding discretionary distributions.
- Takes ownership of projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business required.
- Trust experience preferred.
Skills
- Demonstrates good customer service.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Effectively work as a team member and independently.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
