What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Park Ranger position at Isabella County Parks & Recreation?
Isabella County Parks & Recreation seeks a seasonal Park Ranger. Performs routine maintenance and developmental tasks within a particular park site. Duties include: ground upkeep, performs janitorial operations on cabins, bathhouses, picnic pavilions, and other structures, mow turf areas using a combination of walk behind and riding mowers, patrols park to prevent fires, vandalism, and theft, and complete other work assignments as provided by the Park Supervisor/Manager. This is seasonal employment beginning in early May and continuing through Labor Day. Park Hours: Sunday - Saturday 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Salary Range: $11.06-$16.74/hr. Salary Range with Retention Pay: $12.17-$18.41/hr. Retention Pay Benefit: 10% end-of-season Retention Pay for County Park Seasonal Employees who qualify working between April through Labor Day.
