Transportation Coordinator

Are you organized, calm under pressure, and passionate about public service? The Isabella County Transportation Commission (ICTC) is hiring a Transportation Coordinator to help manage daily transit operations and support our drivers and dispatch team.
What You'll Do:
- Dispatch vehicles using radio or mobile data terminals
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations and driver schedules
- Respond to customer calls, service concerns, and emergencies
- Assist with reports, recordkeeping, and compliance monitoring
- Step in as a driver when needed
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid Michigan CDL with P endorsement (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Isabella County roads and traffic regulations
- Proficient with computers and dispatch software
Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Subject to random drug testing and driving record checks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist passengers
- Must be available for varied work schedules
