Responsibilities of the IT Audit Manager :
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with business units to develop a comprehensive understanding of their strategies, plans, products, processes, performance, and risk-related issues.
- Plan, lead, and manage IT and / or operational audits, reviews, and special projects, while ensuring compliance with departmental and professional standards and timely completion of assignments.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management, utilizing both technical and non-technical language, and produce well-crafted and reviewed audit reports.
- Monitor the progress and accomplishments of the internal audit plan and track the implementation status of recommendations.
- Actively participate in the annual audit planning process, including conducting assessments of IT applications and infrastructure controls.
