The Clinical Manager plays a key role in collaboration between clinical staff and other departments to ensure the best quality of care is provided to Isaiah House clients. The Clinical Manager also advocates on behalf of the clinical team members to ensure they are equipped and prepared to carry out their duties and obligations to the clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing ongoing training to clinical staff, as well as various staff members involved in direct client care in collaboration with clinical directors, and clinical compliance.
- In collaboration with Clinical Administrative Assistant ensure program services/groups are covered when clinicians are absent due to illness, personal days, and vacations.
- Oversight, supervision and quality assurance of all mental health and AOD clinical services including both record keeping and direct services;
- Coordinate client care, review treatment plans, case notes, pre-certs and written correspondence in order to verify that all meet county, state and federal agency standards;
- Ensure professional liability insurance is current.
- Provide therapy for a minimum of 5 clients per week, and one clinical group.
- Participate in Executive Staff Meetings, attend graduations/board meetings as needed. (Invitations will be extended from Executive Assistant if presence is needed)
- Assist and work with Clinical Director regarding strategic and long-range planning as needed.
- Post documentation superstars each week.
- Perform other clinical and supervisory duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree or higher in mental health, counseling, psychology, behavioral science, or equivalent field of study.
- Must possess a current valid and unrestricted license or associate license in the state of Kentucky: Acceptable licenses are: LPCC, LCSW, LPCA, LPCC, CADC, CSW and LCADC.
- Prefer to have one or more years’ experience with license.
- Prefer knowledge of recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in a residential and / or intensive outpatient milieu.
- Prefer experience working with various funding streams and ability to collaborate with our billing department.
- Prefer experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.
- Must possess the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Must possess a valid Kentucky driver’s license.
- Experience with medication-assisted treatment preferred.
- Compensation will reflect an applicant’s experience, licensure, and ability to supervise.
