The Position:
We are looking for a Quality Electrical Inspector with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce in the Data Center environment located in the Columbus Ohio area. Applicants should have the ability to:
- Perform planned audits and surveillance of execution activities to ensure compliance to Project requirements.
- Performing audits and surveillance of subcontractors, suppliers, and sub-suppliers, when required.
- Monitor and report on the status of implementation of the Project Quality Management System and its effectiveness.
- Identifying and recording quality problems and opportunities for improvement and initiating or recommending solutions.
- Interface with management and customer personnel as needed during the resolution of quality issues or during Customer audits.
- Assure that the contract obligations for testing and record keeping are adhered to.
- Manages deliverables of all L1, L2, L3 QAQC, Testing, and CX coordination.
- Ensure proper turnover of complete quality control package(s). Responsible for ensuring that turnover documentation is maintained, organized and turned over on schedule.
- Facilitate project quality meetings when required.
- Knowledgeable in applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks
- Technical knowledge in the application of engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, inspection and testing sufficient to comprehend specified requirements is desired.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to Electrical installation and testing.
- Proficient knowledge of computer programs (EXCEL/WORD).
- Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment
- Candidates for this position should have (6) year’s related experience in Electrical work.
- (4) years of QA/QC experience required in fabrication/testing/installation of E/I is essential.
