Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (Skilled Nursing)

Location: Lawton, OK
Salary Range: $24.50 - $27.56/hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $6,000 Sign-On Bonus
Relocation Bonus: $2,000 Relocation Bonus (For candidates relocating to Lawton, OK. Candidate must have a new Lawton address and relocate in order to be eligible. Relocation not applicable for those from Elgin, Cache, or surrounding areas).

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. The PTA will play a key role in delivering patient care under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist. This role involves performing selected physical therapy procedures and tasks in accordance with the patient's medical needs and treatment plan. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a commitment to supporting the rehabilitation needs of patients across a wide range of ages, from infants to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks as directed by a registered Physical Therapist.
• Administer treatments to patients based on approved treatment plans, including modalities and exercise.
• Ensure patient care is provided safely and effectively, within the scope of the assistant’s role.
• Maintain a neat and organized department, ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of equipment and therapy areas.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of daily notes, patient progress, and discharge information.
• Assist in the overall patient care process, ensuring treatment plans are adhered to and monitoring patient responses to therapy.
• Work with a diverse patient population, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Permanent Oklahoma State Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant, or Oklahoma Temporary Permit under direct supervision pending permanent licensure (Required).
• Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Required).
