Job Description: Fabricator
Fabricators at ISCO are responsible for creating customized polyethylene pipe structures such as fittings, valves, T's, Y's, elbows, aqua shields, geothermal vaults, manholes, dual containment units, pumps, gas aeration lines, and similar structures that meet customer specifications.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and pic ticket orders to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete work.
- Follow quality control procedures to ensure assembled products meet customer specifications.
- Uphold accurate records of materials used on 'ticket'; locate and pull required materials from inventory.
- Maintain clean work area and equipment; follow safety procedures concerning use of equipment and materials to maintain safe working conditions.
- Operate ISCO's fusion and fast fusion equipment, cranes, and forklifts.
- Utilize various hand tools, saws, and cutting equipment and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Brief computer skills.
- Able to lift up to 40lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
Required Skills and Qualifications
