The International Student Exchange (ISE) program is searching for a dynamic community representative to recruit local American host families for our August arriving international students from Europe, Asia and South America!

Duties
- Recruit and screen potential volunteer host family participants for exchange program.
- Coordinate orientation sessions for incoming and outgoing exchange students.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students during their exchange experience, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with schools, host families, and community organizations to ensure a successful exchange experience.
- Provide in-person monthly progress reports and address any issues or concerns that may arise during your visits.
- Organize cultural activities and events to enhance the exchange experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruiting or volunteer management is highly desirable.
- Background in social work or education is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and community members.
- Experience working with students or youth programs is an asset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a goal oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
