ISE is presently seeking an enthusiastic adult to join our Florida team of Area Representatives/Coordinators. As part of the ISE team, you'll play a crucial role in recruiting local volunteer host families and connecting them with with a well-screened international students for a semester or academic high school year.
Required Duties:
- Host Family Recruitment: You will promote the opportunity to voluntarily host an exchange student by using social media and community engagement
- Host Family Vetting: This process includes conducting in-person interviews and home visits to assess the suitability of the host family.
- Regular In-Person Check-ins: Conduct in-person contact with both the host family and the student at least six times during the academic year homestay. These interactions foster strong relationships and provide opportunities to address any concerns promptly.
- Support and Guidance: You will be the key go-to person for both the student and the host family during the school year, and you will assist with immersion challenges and answer program questions.
- Documentation and Communication: You’ll maintain regular contact with your ISE manager through detailed supervision reports, as well documenting the exchange student's progress in school, their social interactions, and their overall immersion progress.
