Position Summary:
Starting Pay: $19 - $25 D.O.E.
This full-time position requires a self-starter requiring minimal supervision and is responsible for service and installation of manufactured and modular homes. Responsibilities includes the delivery, setup and finishing of homes, and working with all the other branch personnel in meeting the overall company goals. You will be an important member of our service team. You will also learn how to operate the latest in heavy equipment used to install manufactured and modular homes.
The service staff is key to a successful home center. You will learn all aspects of manufactured and modular housing. A successful service member will possess numerous and varied skills and tools including roofing, siding, plumbing, trim, drywall, and general labor.
This position will require some travel and will require overnight stays from time to time.
This position requires a valid Driver’s license.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Has primary responsibility to see that all homes sold by the branch are safely delivered to customer sites, are properly setup and finished in accordance manufacturers setup manual and instructions provided by the service manager.
2. Properly plan for deliveries and service.
3. Work closely with Service Manager regarding planning and completing customer deliveries of homes on a timely basis.
4. Plan and arrange for necessary service supplies and materials for jobs to be available when needed in order to maintain efficiencies and productivity.
5. Be able to travel to various locations for delivery and service as necessary.
6. Inspect delivery and work sites for proper preparation and safe conditions.
7. Check foundation dimensions prior to setting of homes.
8. A high priority is to be placed on the completion of the setup and finishing of homes on a timely basis and on schedule.
9. Assist the Service Manager in planning and conducting the weekly Monday morning Safety meeting. All service employees are required to attend.
10. Drive company service vehicles from branch to customer sites to deliver and setup homes.
11. Refurbish used homes as directed by the Service Manager.
12. Maintain the necessary service supplies and materials inventories necessary to keep the service department running efficiently.
13. Always promote company policy and safety.
14. Various other duties and functions as necessary and assigned.
