JOB DESCRIPTION
ISG is seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our dynamic team for the summer. This internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in your specific engineering discipline while participating in a comprehensive professional development program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in a 4-year Civil Engineering program with a Transportation Emphasis.
- Become familiar with and produce work using computer aided software programs.
- Be accountable to other members of the team to complete assigned tasks and recognize performance of other team members.
- Work on several projects at one time.
- Must have strong communication, organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Professional Development Program
Throughout the summer, interns will take part in our professional development program designed to enhance their skills and home in on their strengths. This program includes:
- Bi-Weekly Workshops: Participate in sessions led by Kinzee Miest and Mariah Burroughs covering topics such as goal setting, elevating your strengths, and building confidence in a professional setting.
- Mentorship: Receive guidance and support from a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate your internship.
- Career Development: Gain insights into career paths and opportunities within the engineering field through coaching sessions with your team leaders.

TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP LOCATIONS
- Green Bay, WI – You will be working closely with Heath Hagner.
- La Crosse, WI – You will be working closely with Joel Goodenough and Will Kratt.
- Pierre, SD – You will be working closely with Scott McCue.
- Sioux Falls, SD – You will be working closely with Lisa Dressel and Scott Dumdei.
WHAT WE OFFER
