What are the responsibilities and job description for the Market Research/Consumer Insights Project Manager position at ISG?

Responsibilities :

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external partners / suppliers
Develop and maintain project schedules
Manage project budgets to ensure profitability
Plan and coordinate internal and external resources needed for successful project completion under tight, concurrent deadlines
Manage the workflow of research processes relating to data collection to client and internal specifications, including :

o Qualitative projects : Recruitment briefings, sample management, recruiting, confirmations, study participation, quality assurance

o Quantitative projects : Briefings, sample management, questionnaire design, programming, program testing, quality assurance / data processing, open-end response coding, tabulations, data checking

Keep clients updated on project status

Identify problems and work with the team to resolve issues and continually improve project performance

Manage external partners

Write bids and proposals for existing and prospective clients to help secure new projects

Job Requirements :

Professional experience in market research is preferred

B.A. and / or M.A. in a field with research, business or marketing communications emphasis preferred

Strong understanding of research principles and practices

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and an aptitude to quickly learn web-based survey tools, and project management software

Professional experience in market research strongly preferred

Ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects under firm deadlines

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
