Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Aide to join our team at ISH Dining Services. As a Food Service Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our food service areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in meal preparation, assembling trays, and cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Clean food service work areas as food preparation and service is done.
- Labels and transports nourishment to resident floors, and uses equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
- Handles, stores, and disposes of food supplies, and follows department procedures and regulations.
- Follows facility policies and procedures for infection control, uses personal protective equipment, and reports problems to Director of Food Service.
- Communicates with Director of Food Service throughout shift, assists with state inspections, and attends in-service education.
- Reports injuries and follows CMS mandate/guidelines for vaccination.
