Responsibilities
The Network / Systems Administration Specialist II will be in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Command in Panama City working with NSWC PCD Network Operations.
Assists network administration projects as assigned by Network Operations.
- Provides guidance and support to the Junior Network Specialists.
- Assists with technical and administrative functions of the network to include troubleshooting outages / issues, providing technical solutions, configuration of network infrastructure devices, maintenance of network devices, and configuration of network management tools.
- Troubleshoots network issues and resolves network tickets from network users.
- Responsible for assisting Senior Network Specialist with all aspects of configuration management including documentation such as drawings, standard operating procedures, RMF artifacts, and literature.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree preferably in STEM from an accredited institution preferred.
Experience and Requirements :
Certification : IAT Level III Certification required such as : Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation or a Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC).
Security Clearance : Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active government security clearance.
